Walkerville Veterinary Surgery was founded in 1999 aiming to provide high quality veterinary care to the pets of Adelaide. We do our best to make this happen via caring, effective and sensibly-priced services. Our practice offers large, well-equipped consulting, treatment, theatre and hospital areas and the latest equipment and knowledge are always at our fingertips. Over the years the practice has grown into an established part of the community, with many happy and healthy patients.
At Walkerville, we are the closest vet to the north-east of the city, adjacent to North Adelaide, Collinswood, Broadview, Klemzig and St Peters, though many of our clients travel from much further in the North East region. Our senior experienced vets, Dr Andrew Spanner and Dr Claire Daly enjoy caring for range of pets whether they be dog or puppy, cat or kitten, rabbit, ferret, bird, rat or mouse and are available weekdays plus all day Saturday.

My partner and I could not have been more blessed to have found this vet for our dearly loved cat George who passed away on 01/07/2018. We noticed Walkerville Vet had plenty of great reviews and after being unsatisfied with our first Vet's diagnosis at a nearby clinic, we decided to get a second opinion. We were met with the wonderful, friendliest and most bubbly staff and the knowledgeable and most sympathetic veterinarian Dr Andrew Spanner. My partner and I can rest assured knowing that, although our cat George's true diagnosis was terminal, we did all that we could to help save his life. We were extremely impressed by the professionalism, compassion and knowledge from all the staff we dealt with and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone wanting the best for their furballs.
I trust the team at Walkerville Vet to look after the health of my 3 fur-kids. Everyone demonstrates outstanding professionalism and customer care. They listen to my concerns and are willing to spend the time in explaining their diagnosis. If, like me, your fur-kids are the world to you, and you are after a team you can trust that will provide you with great advice and service at an affordable price, these are the guys you want to go see!
A great place to come and learn about your pets or have them get there regular check ups they even had little toys so my cat got a treat of a toy mouse after being a good boy in his apt it really was a great experience for all of us and I cant wait to see the new building down the road to come up as it just shows that they know what they are doing over there trust me. Also the vet taught me all about organic ways I can help my cat can be healthy for years to come I truly appreciated it alot.
A really friendly and nice place to take my pet they have a very good grade food on offer and toys and snacks even to comfort them after they leave. My pet has always been treated really well and likes the vet there and we cant wait to see the new building come up soon.
My first visit was more than to what we have expected. They have great customer service and professional with their work. Special thanks to Dr. Andrew, he is very knowledgeable and gave us expert and honest advice for our little kitten. I highly recommend him! You can also tell that they care and really passionate with what they do as they offer free first time check ups as well. They have reasonable pricing too! We appreciate the team and we would definitely make this as our regular vet for our Puffy. Thank you Walkerville Vet and keep up your exceptional service to us pet owners! :) -Julie&Jacky
