We have five hospital wards, 2 surgical suites, x-ray, ultrasounds, endoscopes and an in-house laboratory so you can rest assured that we can help when your beloved pet is sick.As the Mackay Region’s only AQIS accredited veterinarian, Stabler and Howlett co-director Dr Al Grant is able to help you comply with export protocols should your pet need to travel overseas.Our large animal ambulatory practice is equipped with mobile horse stocks, digital x-ray, ultrasounds, and power dental equipment. We have two ACV BBSE accredited veterinarians and provide services south to Marlborough, north to Bowen and Collinsville and west to Mt Coolon and Clermont. We have an equine breeding centre at Habana and an indoor horse surgery at our Ooralea Hospital.We are proud to host visiting specialists in dermatology (skin), ophthalmology (eyes), and surgery on a regular basis.
